Internship Responsibilities:
-Assist with Bookkeeping and Accounting Tasks: Help manage bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processes for clients under supervision.
-Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with assigned clients, ensuring their inquiries and needs are addressed promptly.

-Support Financial Record Preparation: Assist in preparing, compiling, and analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
-Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record financial transactions and account entries based on verified documentation.
-Learn and Apply Policies: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that uphold accounting standards.
-Resolve Inquiries: Help address and resolve inquiries from clients and relevant government bodies regarding account transactions.
-Assist in Reconciliation: Support the investigation and reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
-Invoice Verification: Assist in reviewing and verifying invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy before processing.
-Maintain Confidentiality: Safeguard client confidence and operational integrity by maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.
-Client Updates: Help proactively update clients on pertinent submissions, including audits, tax filings and submissions, and other compliance-related documents.
-Task Scheduling: Assist in planning schedules and timetables to efficiently complete assigned tasks and meet submission deadlines.
-Monitor Tax Obligations: Help monitor tax obligations to prevent penalties and ensure timely compliance with tax regulations.
-Identify Discrepancies: Assist in notifying clients of any discrepancies or issues identified in their accounts or transactions.
-Respond to Queries: Help respond to queries from auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders, providing thorough and accurate information.
-Payroll Process: Assist in preparing and managing the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
-Progress Reporting: Regularly report progress to the manager, highlighting key achievements and addressing any challenges encountered.
-Financial Reporting: Help finalize and present comprehensive financial reports to clients, addressing their questions or concerns with clarity and professionalism.

-Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, training will be provided but good communication and soft skills are necessary
-Ability to prioritise urgent tasks and work with a sense of urgency
-Have good social skills to communicate with clients, and able to manage demanding clients effectively
-High attention to detail and meticulous with accounting tasks
-Organised and systematic in workflow and work processes
-Proficient in managing work schedule and time
-Basic knowledge of accounting technical skills such as accounting standards
-Excellent spoken and written English skills
-Need to be able to use Microsoft Office (Word/ Excel)
-Added advantage accounting software knowledge (AutoCount/ SQL/ MYOB/ Xero)
-Openness and eagerness to learn and upskill
-Able to travel to our office in Mont Kiara (hybrid work arrangements start from 2nd month onwards, but there will be certain days required to work at the office)
