We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Account Manager to handle the full set of accounting functions for our clients. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and work closely with outsourced auditors and company secretaries to support the overall financial health of our clients' businesses. The role also includes handling ad-hoc tasks as needed, providing clients with timely financial insights, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Set Accounting:Prepare and maintain complete sets of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, and trial balances.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping, including journal entries, general ledger management, and reconciling accounts.
Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures and reporting.
Prepare and file GST returns (if applicable) and other relevant tax filings.
Liaise with Outsourced Audit and Company Secretary:Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Work closely with the outsourced company secretary to ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and statutory filings.
Work closely with the managing director and address any ad-hoc accounting queries from management, offering solutions and guidance where necessary.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in full-set accounting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SQL) and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and tax laws.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience working with outsourced audits and company secretarial services is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
