Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Data Entry:Input financial data into accounting systems or software.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:Process bills, invoices, and payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Administrative Support:Assist with filing, correspondence, and other office tasks related to accounting.
Financial Reporting:Generate basic financial reports for management, such as cash flow summaries and expense reports.
Compliance:Ensure all transactions adhere to relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Communication:Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding payment issues and account inquiries.
Customer Interaction:Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone and email.
Order Processing and Follow-up:Assist customers with placing, tracking, or modifying orders.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification:Minimum SPM or Diploma or certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience:Previous experience in accounts or customer service or a related role is advantageous.
Technical Skills:Experience in accounting software (e.g., Autocount) will be added value.
Attention to Detail:Strong accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Numerical Skills:Good mathematical and analytical abilities.
Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in Bahasa English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Organizational Skills:Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge:Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Problem-solving Abilities:Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues.
