Accounts Executive

Job Responsibilities:Manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, handle accounts payable/receivable, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and support financial decision-making.
Proactively manage overdue invoices through telephone, email, and written correspondence, while maintaining detailed records of all collection activities.
Review and validate credit/debit notes from suppliers or affiliates to ensure accurate compensation and charges.
Oversee the complete financial process, including collections, payments, month-end closing activities, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure that all accounting practices, systems, controls, and procedures fully comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the system, with timely reconciliations.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to the Accounts Manager.
Compile and generate detailed reports for monthly management meetings.
Present financial insights, accounting issues, and results to senior management.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Accounts Manager or other designated personnel.
Qualifications:A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Proficiency in accounting software, especially SQL Accounting, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with the SQL accounting system.
Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating positive engagement with employees and management at all levels to deliver effective results.
1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to advise management on the resolution of financial issues.
