We are looking for a dynamicAccounts Executiveto join our team.
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and providing accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the entire accounts payable function, this includes processing and verifying all accounts payable related transactions and ensuring they are supported by relevant documentation.
Liase with the sales support for Account Receivables matters such as filing, cross-checking sales invoices for following sales SOP, collection with customers, and other AR related matters.
Perform vendor and balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis.
Ensure all inter-company transactions are recorded timely, accurately, and confirmed with the parties.
Process monthly journal postings and ensure monthly accruals are completed timely, accurately, and in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
Follow up on aged POs, monitor prepayment accounts, and update AR payment collections.
Preparation of payment schedules on a weekly and monthly basis.
Update P&L and Balance Sheet schedules on a monthly basis.
Identify current accounts payable issues and drive efficiencies and improvements by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Assist in financial audits, providing support in tax filing and other regulatory requirements.
Assist in other ad-hoc assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Analytics, or equivalent.
At least 2-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount) and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Assertive, creative, possess good interpersonal skills, and highly driven and self-motivated for a fast-paced evolving environment.
