COMPANY:Our client is a construction company with G7 license and ISO 9001:2015 certification. Their core business involves building construction and civil engineering projects in the Selangor & Klang Valley area. In line with their rapid expansion, they are inviting suitable and qualified candidates for the following position:JOB SUMMARY:Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee their financial operations in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the company's financial health and supporting strategic decision-making.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Reporting:Prepare and present monthly financial statements, variance reports, and forecasts to senior management.
Invoicing & Payments:Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring timely billing of customers and processing of vendor payments.
Cash Flow Management:Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate funding for ongoing projects.
Policy Development:Formulate and implement financial policies and procedures.
Compliance:Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax laws and regulations.
Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Collaboration:Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives and project timelines.
Audit Support:Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:To be successful in this role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or property development industry.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices, including project costing and progress billing.
Candidates with working experience in building materials, construction, or developers are preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia as well as Mandarin.
Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
