Accounts Officer

About the role
We are seeking an experiencedAccounts Officerto join our dynamic team at TravelBiz & Tours Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur and Penang branches). This full-time role will be responsible for both managing theaccounts receivableandaccounts payableprocesses, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, managing payments to suppliers, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable :
• Manage and maintain accounts receivable processes
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Prepare monthly aging reports
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely collections
Accounts Payable :
• Manage and process vendor payments
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and maintain accurate records
• Verify and reconcile accounts payable data
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve payment issues
• Prepare and manage monthly cash flow forecasts
Qualifications:
Proven experience inaccounts receivableandaccounts payableor related fields
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
