Key responsibilitiesAll aspects of collections regarding debtors' ledger.
Resolving customers' financial queries via phone and email.
Inbound and outbound calls.
Liaising with market contacts regarding customer queries.
Prepare and dispatch dunning letters/statements.
Receive and give inputs to initiate legal/insurance actions.
Provide support to AR Team Leader for credit control activities as required.
Ensuring all associate activities are compliant to audit requirements.
Documenting all collection activity.
Escalation and follow through of any issues occurring.
Reporting and process improvement.
Qualifications and skillsCandidate must possess at least a university degree in accounting, commerce, finance, and/or a professional accountancy qualification.
Preferably a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a deductions/credit review related job function.
Good to have excellent numeric and accuracy skills.
Preferably has a good command of written and spoken English.
Processing of cash to the customer accounts for all methods of payment (Cashier).
Must have a positive, proactive attitude, be a team player, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Capable of working independently as well, by recognizing potential problems and seeking solutions.
Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, manage time, and pay attention to detail and accuracy while working under pressure.
Excellent understanding and daily use of High Radius, SAP, and Excel.
Able to handle tight timelines and flexible to work late (during close period).
