Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Maxis Berhad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in a remote work capacity. As an Associate level Accounts Receivable specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. This part-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Follow up on overdue payments and communicate with customers to resolve outstanding issues
- Process incoming payments and update customer accounts accordingly
- Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable status
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Driven and resilient personality traits
- Strong research and people management skills
