Admin/Operations Assistant - Operations, MASB @ IpohAssist in the monitoring of the operations territories and ensure compliance with all related documents and coordinate with all units to ensure operations of the airport run smoothly.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Ensure that the airside operations comply with Regulations, SARPs, Procedures, and Directives from the Regulator.
Assume administrative and operational control in the absence of the Head Of Operation & Airport Manager.
Conduct frequent surveillance on airport activities to identify any unsafe, inefficient, or illegal activities.
Prepare reports on all complaints and submit necessary reports as required by HQ.
Assist in the contract management of cleaning services, grass cutting, and landscaping to ensure they are monitored and supervised accordingly.
Ensure the competency of all personnel in the Operations Unit.
Assist in the maintenance program to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and standards.
Promulgate information on aerodrome operational status such as temporary withdrawal of facilities, runway closure, work in progress, accidents, and incidents.
Assist the Head Of Operation as a technical operations advisor to management in the formulation of policies, plans, and procedures.
Attend meetings with government departments, airlines, aircraft operators, airport agencies, and airport tenants to provide information on airport operations.
Ensure that services provided by third parties meet the established standards.
Act as Secretary of the Aerodrome Manual and meetings at the airport, including Facilitation, passenger handling, and coordination, and Airside Safety Committee Meetings.
Assist the Head of Operation & Airport Manager during emergency situations.
Assist the Head of Operation & Airport Manager in the implementation of certification processes such as SMS, Aerodrome, and QMS.
Facilitate and coordinate VIP/VVIP/CIP movement management.
Prepare management reports including monitoring of Operations Information System (OIS) and FLIRT.
Carry out directives given by the Head Of Operation & Airport Manager.
