Aerospace Technician Fresh Graduate

Gain hands-on experience repairing and maintaining precision airfoil components for world-class aircraft engines.
Master the use of advanced measuring tools like vernier calipers and production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with skilled technicians, senior technicians, and gate leaders to ensure products meet global aviation standards.
Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity to contribute to the safety of the aviation industry.
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO):
Assist in MRO processes for aerospace components such as blades and vanes under the guidance of an approval holder.
Perform essential tasks involving consistent processes and adherence to standard technical procedures.
Manage tools and equipment with proper care and attention.
Comply with and support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, rules, and regulations.
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Logistics – Incoming & Outgoing:
Conduct visual inspections to:Identify airfoil components within in-house capability.
Verify documentation and confirm airfoil quantities.Isolate and quarantine any rejected airfoils.
Perform final inspections on repaired airfoils and verify documentation before delivery to clients.
Chemical and Mechanical Cleaning:
Execute chemical and mechanical cleaning processes to remove surface contaminants, impurities, and heavy dirt.
Inspection:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to:Determine the appropriate repair process based on manufacturer instructions, customer requests, etc.
Ensure components are within serviceable limits after the repair process.
Verify compliance with established standards and specifications.Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
Perform various non-destructive testing methods to detect cracks or defects in blades and vanes before and after repairs, including:Penetrant testing.
Eddy current testing.
Radiography testing.
Ultrasonic testing.Welding:
Perform TIG welding to restore airfoil length using Nickel and Titanium alloy materials.
Grinding:
Execute grinding operations before and after welding to:Ensure smooth surfaces within tolerance limits.
Meet required specifications.Required Qualifications
Education:SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Welding, Quality, or related fields.
Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of measuring tools (e.g., vernier calipers) and production/manufacturing equipment.
Industry Experience:Prior experience in an aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment is a strong advantage.
Familiarity withNon-Destructive Testing (NDT)methods and procedures is highly desirable.Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Malay.
