Description Primary Objective:In-charge of MFRS9 ECL impairment system enhancement and maintenance, as well as administrationPerform, compile and generate the required reports for MFRS 9 to meet Group timely and accurate submissionPerform test in UAT for Change Request (CR) for system enhancement in timely mannersActively involved and fully participate in internal Group projectsKey Responsibilities:Batch Operator - ProductionPerform batch runs and provide ECL summary to ensure result is ready in timely manner for stakeholdersApplication AdministratorPerform application / system administration functions to ensure compliance with Group IT Security Policy and Guidelines and agreed SLA.Coordinate periodic user access and security profile review to ensure compliance with Group IT Security Policy and Guidelines.
Perform application testing during DR simulation.Review and update security matrix Liaise with External & Internal Auditor regarding the security audit.
Manage and ensure sufficient storage for the MFRS9 serverMFRS 9 Perform analysis regarding MFRS9 - Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and customer stagesProvide internal advisory for the Business Units regarding ECL and accounting related issuesSupport the financial reporting team on ECL and accounting related matters.Prepare various financial reporting on IFRS/MFRS 9 for submission to management, business units, internal team, regulatory bodies and internal/external auditors, within internal/external stipulated timelines Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and guidelines set by BNM/RegulatorsAssist in identifying areas for potential improvement that may result in efficiency and savings for the organisation with regards to MFRS 9 loan impairment.
Engage and discuss with Business and highlight potential accounts for monitoring to ensure that further delinquency is capped to avoid loan losses.Prepare and assist manager / head on the preparation of MRAs and GCRC's slides (semi-annually)Prepare sensitivity analysis (annually)Act as controller for the functional & operational manual updates, based on the latest practicePerform UAT testing Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or equivalent qualificationsMinimum of 4-5 years working experience in finance departmentPreferably with knowledge on MFRS9In-depth knowledge of the Bank's systems architecture, system flows and databasesComputer skills/knowledge in data mining or using productivity tools like SAS, SQL or other BI/analytical tools Benefits Dental, Education support, Miscellaneous allowance, Medical, Loans, Sports (e.g.
