Position: Application Analyst

Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

Identify and author requirement documentation by partnering with key stakeholders to ensure business needs are met

Communicates system changes, status and issues to all stakeholders

Acts as a liaison between the stakeholders and development team

Author of Traceability Matrix

Manage Test Plan and Test Script/Scenarios creation to ensure end results meet specified business requirements and follow the SDLC process

Assist in recording and documenting system issues that require fixes

Assist with the testing efforts of new system enhancements

Review executed testing and any associated defects

Ensures system knowledge sharing by training key personal and providing support

Participation in system implementation and migration activities

Provide support and guidance to Payment Department when questions arise as it relates to systems

Support QA activities as needed

Ensure programs meet business specifications.

Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking inputs on future direction.

Participate in user focus groups and requirements workshops, vendor training and demonstrations.

Manage enhancements to the current operating system through the development life cycle

Managing change requests related to working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines

Other duties as assigned

Academic and Professional Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Healthcare or Computer Science, IT or related discipline with relevant combination of training and experience

Knowledge and experience from the Healthcare industry implementing HIS / EMR applications

Essential requirements:

Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in Healthcare applications

Experienced Pharmacist with interest in IT are encouraged to apply (Min 3 years’ Experience)

Nurses with interest in IT are encouraged to apply

Must be able to work full-time on project site spread worldwide

Must possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation and overseas

Able to multitask and deliver results under tight schedules without supervision

Highly motivated, innovative and capable of working and delivering under tight schedules

Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
