About the Role
Your roles as an Analyst Manager includes:
Conduct due diligence on new investments which are including but not limited to researching and finding both promising investments and investors;
Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry news to identify potential investment opportunities;
Conduct research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, including market research, financial analysis, and valuation;
Executing performance metrics of the potential investments through ample and deep assessment on all relevant information on whether or not the proposed investment would be viable or otherwise;
Preparing and presenting the analysis outcome to help with the decision-making process;
Prepare reports and presentations on investment opportunities and portfolio performance for internal and external stakeholders;
Participate in all capacities for company fund raising activities which are including but not limited to marketing, sales, events, meetings and pitches;
Lead the analyst team, able to observe and manage the team.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience using Excel, PowerPoint and other financial analysis tools.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner as well as excellent public speaking skills.
Able to sift through abundant information.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
You also must be able to exhibit excellent work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity as well as the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of the technology industry and startup ecosystem is a plus.
Ability to think creatively and critically about investment opportunities and market trends.
Must be able to manage the analyst team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Master is an advantage.
5 years and above of experience in investment analysis, preferably in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Fund Management, Asset Management, or Investment Banking would be an advantage.
