ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage and coordinate all activities related to BC: technical support, trainings, product development, troubleshooting, sensory analysis, formulation, and laboratory operations related to internal employees and external technical support such as clients and distributors.
Facilitate connections with APA Go-To-Market teams and synergies with Greater China Baking Center teams, ensuring the BC department actively contributes to GTM ambitions and objectives.
Collect, analyze, and report technical information from the market, including competitor positioning, trends, and changes in customer requirements, as well as BC activities across APA.
Facilitate and support the recruitment and development of the team of baking experts in the APA region.
Responsible for OPEX and CAPEX of the APA Baking Centre.
Provide relevant support to the Baking Center in all subsidiaries in the APA sub-region.
Integrate HSE best practices into all design/product development.
Consider HSE risk assessment in new projects (chemical risk, operating mode, etc.).
QualificationsDegree in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent.
5 years of experience in the same industry, with strong leadership and project management experience.
Good knowledge of the local and regional industry.
Able to handle the complexity of the assignment: strategic insight, variety of activities, timelines (short term, long term), and innovation (global, business/market, product, etc.).
Able to work in teams on transversal projects.
Good knowledge of ingredients and the bread-making process would be a major plus.
Able to travel to countries in APAC.
