About the roleAs an Area Manager at BIG NINETEEN SDN BHD, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of multiple retail stores within a specific geographic area. This full-time, site-based role is located in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and will play a crucial part in driving the company's growth and success within the retail and consumer products industry.
What you'll be doing
Effectively manage and lead a team of store managers, ensuring they meet key performance targets
Monitor and analyse store-level data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales and operational efficiency
Develop and execute area-level marketing and promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and footfall
Liaise with regional and head office teams to share best practices and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within your area of responsibility
What we're looking for
Substantial experience (5+ years) in a multi-site retail management role, ideally within the consumer products industry
Proven track record of driving sales growth, operational efficiency and team performance in a retail environment
Excellent communication, leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address key business challenges
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficient in using relevant retail management systems and data analysis tools
