Development of customer base on both New Customer Development (NCD) and New Business Development (NBD) level, generating leads that may require the company's range of products and services.
Conduct project site visits regularly to introduce the company to prospective clients and broaden the company's exposure and engagement.
Build strong relationships with clients to inculcate loyalty and encourage continued preference for the company's various products and services.
Implement strategies in his/her area of responsibility via market, customer, and competitor analysis.
Develop market penetration strategies for sales.
Engage in internal and external networking, collecting and sharing information about market, customers, competitors, etc. using recognized tools.
Direct discussions with customers to ensure they choose Bürkert's quotations over competitors, and convince them in challenging situations to close the deal.
Coordinate all communication with customers and manage all relevant sales documents.
Negotiate commercial and project conditions and close sales.
Monitor and provide feedback regarding the progress of important customer projects to multiply local success.
Represent the company professionally as an ambassador.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in selling automation products to the water/wastewater industry or food & beverage.
Required skills: process automation, fluid control systems, solenoid valves, pneumatics, sensors and controllers, flow meters, sales, negotiation, account management.
Preferably specialized in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
