Area Sales Executive

This role is responsible for driving sales and profitability in Kuching. He/She is responsible for achieving the sales targets, managing distributors, ensuring optimal product distribution and correct shelf price, strong product visibility on primary shelf with intensive usage of POSMs and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales target achievement: Achieve sales targets for the assigned region through effective planning, implementation and follow-up of sales strategies.
Trade spend management: Effectively utilize trade investment to maximize return on sales.
Distributor management: Manage distributors in the assigned region to ensure that they meet their sales targets, manage their inventory effectively, and adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
Daily sales and productivity review with distributor's assigned PICs and sellers.
Inventory management: To eliminate the possibility of out-of-stock situation in the trade and build an optimal inventory level in distributor's warehouse.
Customer relationship management: Build strong relationships with key customers in the assigned region to understand their needs and preferences, address their concerns, and provide effective solutions.
Market intelligence: Collect and analyze market intelligence in the assigned region to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive activities.
Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the Regional Sales Manager.
Share distribution audit & market visit report monthly with distributor for expectation alignment and for continuous improvement.
To proactively understand, develop, negotiate, implement and monitor localized / ad hoc promotion programs with key retailers to tap on their business opportunities.
Job Skills and Qualifications
Diploma / Certificate in Business, Marketing or any relevant studies.
At least 3-5 years of working experience in FMCG and distributor management and customer relationship management.
Good communication skills in both oral and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Willing to travel frequently within Kuching.
Proactive, enthusiastic, aggressive and with winning mentality.
Able to work under pressure and positive attitude.#J-18808-Ljbffr
