**Key Responsibilities**:**Operational Leadership**:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team.Oversee the daily activities of the WTE plant to ensure smooth operations.Implement best practices to optimize plant efficiency and output.**Personnel Management**:Recruit, train, and manage a skilled operations team.Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.**Compliance and Safety**:Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.Implement and update safety protocols and procedures.Work closely with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.**Process Optimization**:Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements.Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for optimization.Implement changes to improve overall plant performance.**Resource Management**:Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and consumables.Develop and manage operational budgets.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or efficiency.**Quality Control**:Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality energy.Monitor and address deviations from quality standards.**Communication and Reporting**:Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on plant performance and key operational metrics.Prepare and present reports on operational efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.**Emergency Response**:Develop and implement emergency response plans.Lead the operations team in responding to emergencies effectively.**Qualifications and Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in a leadership role within a Waste-to-Energy or similar industrial facility.- Strong knowledge of waste management, energy production, and environmental regulations.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response procedures.- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address operational challenges.- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and optimization.**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Parental leaveAbility to commute/relocate:- Port Dickson: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
