Assistant Accounting & Tax Manager

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
Manage the accounting team to conduct monthly SAP FICO Closing Accounting on time.
Submit monthly reconciliation to HQ.
Review the balance sheet reconciliation items prepared by the accounting team.
Prepare bridging between Local GAAP Financial Reports and Group Accounting Policy.
Prepare monthly and annual tax reports.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Maintain and review finance and accounting procedures and policies.
Handle tax audits, including serving as the company representative in tax court.
Responsible for external audit financial reporting.
Approve and sign bank/cash payments, and sign Customer's invoices (including Tax invoices).
Undertake job-related tasks as assigned by superior/management.
Requirements:Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or its equivalent.
Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience in auditing or handling a full set of accounting; and minimum 2 years hands-on working experience in handling tax filing.
Experience in preparing audited financial statements and tax computation.
Experience in handling backlog accounts and reporting is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience in using ERP and/or SAP will be an added advantage.
Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
