Assistant Accounts Manager

Details of the offer

-Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance


-Perform day-to-day accounting transactions and operations, addressing any backlog as needed.


-Drive continuous improvement initiatives for accuracy, efficiency, internal controls, cost savings, and documentation processes.


-Supervise and support team members in daily transactions and reporting.


-Responsible in prepare company monthly management accounts, reporting and financial schedule within agreed time


-Responsible in checking all supplier unpaid invoices against aging before payment being issue.


-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies


-Responsible in liaise with audit, tax, secretarial, bank and other relevant authorities matters


-Perform any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the Management from time to time

; Requirements:-


-Positive working attitude.


-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.


-Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar role


-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.


-Proficiency in MS Office, POS system and accounting software (e.g., Autocount Accounting).


-Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.


-Pragmatic, adaptable, and driven to improve processes.


-Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.


-Good knowledge in retail/supermarket industry would be added advantages.


-Experience to lead at least team of 5 paxs
