Today, we help 20 million visitors annually with their financial needs and empower them to make intelligent decisions on all money matters. We provide an accessible and secure space for them to learn, compare financial products and keep in touch with the latest personal finance news and tips.
We are now looking for anAssistant Business Development Managerwho aspires to grow iMoney's Revenue / brand and presence further.
Your primary role will be to drive the company's sales by identifying new business opportunities and building and maintaining relationships with potential clients. You will work closely with the Business Development, Digital Marketing & Content team to develop sales strategies and meet revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and qualify new business opportunities through various methods such as networking, cold calling, and using marketing and research tools.
Implement sales strategies, including market analysis, target identification and competitors analysis.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, key stakeholders, and industries.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as marketing, product development, and Brand teams to align on business development efforts with our company strategy. Act as a liaison person between teams to ensure seamless coordination for Partners deliverables.
Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and sales contracts to prospective clients.
Manage key client accounts, ensuring partner satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities.
Partner negotiation, pricing discussion and agreement development to maximize profitability.
Analyze partners' performance metrics to optimize business development strategies.
Provide weekly reports on business development activities, sales pipeline, revenue projections, and performance metrics. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize processes.
Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish a strong presence and expand our professional network.
In charge of maintaining the BD team CRM for media services.
Ability to learn to create and lead a sales team that is effective and efficient to achieve company objectives.
Provide general support to the Sales team and any other team as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in business, preferably marketing. A Master's degree will be a plus.
2 – 4 years of relevant working experience in Sales / Business Development / Commercial or Marketing. Prior experience with a Media agency with a track record of success in driving revenue and growth along with closing deals will be advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong understanding of marketing, digital, media and new trends.
Experience in developing and presenting proposals and pitches to prospective partners with strong negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and be part of a team, with strong project management and able to use a CRM tool.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a result-oriented mindset.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
Time management and planning skills.
Ability to build market knowledge and attend events.
Attentive to detail, analytical and a critical thinker.
