Responsibilities:Involve in the daily operations of the booking processes for the company by coaching and leading a team of customer service personnel, including the team at the Shared Service Centre, professionally.
Assist the Manager to ensure smooth operations of the customer service booking team at both Agency and Shared Service Centre by monitoring daily vessel changes and schedule updates by the Cases Team to ensure they are current and accurate, including compliance to sanctions, DG, Flexibags bookings, and other special project cargo arrangements.
Monitor call queue to the team and ensure calls are answered promptly and politely.
Look for ways to streamline procedures to improve efficiency and customer service excellence.
Achieve the KPIs set for the department.
Assist immediate superior with any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Report to the Customer Service Manager.
Requirements:Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Candidates with 4-5 years of customer service background in shipping or logistics are needed for this role.
A team player, self-driven, and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines, with strong analytical and good communication skills.
Must be able to speak and write good English.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Must be prepared to learn new system applications.
