Job Responsibilities:Prepares monthly financial statement closing and reporting. Also in-charge for financial analysis and presentation to management, as well as be the liaison with different stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, regulatory body.
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards, this includes verifying the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the organization's financial health.
Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, inventories, accruals, bank and inter-company balances.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Regularly communicates with Business and IT Team to obtain additional business information, clarifying appropriate accounting policies and address any issues or area of concerns.
Coordinate with local auditors/local tax consultant for audit/financial matters by providing information and responding to queries.
Implementing and maintaining financial system and software that enhance internal controls and risk management.
Development and implementation of internal controls, process, management, and improvement, policy & procedures for the group.
Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites:A university graduate in accounting and finance and / or a member of a recognized body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA etc.
At least 3 years of experience in a related field as Accountant or Assistant Manager.
Prior experience of working in a global environment or audit experience in BIG4 is a definite advantage.
Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in SAP HANA will be an added advantage.
Independent, self-motivated, pro-active and a team player.
Effective communication skills to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
