ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER, FACILITIES MANAGEMENTAs theGeneral Manager, Facilities Management , you will be responsible for the oversight and management of daily operations of the shopping mall. You will act as liaison between ownership, patrons, tenants and third parties to operate a safe, secure and functional shopping mall in line with the business needs.
Your key responsibilities will include handling the retail facility and energy management activities, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and productivity, developing and executing improved energy programmes and taking preventive and corrective actions in improving the safety features to reduce liability exposure. To ensure that the shopping mall is well maintained, safe and operating at optimum performance, you will see to it that mall inspections and monitoring of the tenants are administered, deficiencies or items requiring attention are attended to, including co-operating with government agencies to assure that all applicable codes and regulations are adhered to on the premises.
To succeed in this position, you must have significant experience in managing large facilities and operations in similar capacity or higher to senior management. Degree qualified, you will have up to date knowledge of best practices in facility and energy management, EHS requirements and a solid understanding of M&E, HVAC, plumbing systems and building maintenance (interior and exterior). You should possess outstanding analytical abilities with a proactive approach towards resolving escalated issues. Equipped with strong verbal and written communication skills, you must be able to communicate technical information and excel in customer management, while demonstrating capabilities in leading, coaching and motivating the team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
