In this full-time position, you will work closely with the Head Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll be doing
Oversee Housekeeping Operations : Assist in supervising daily operations to ensure all guest rooms and public spaces meet Marriott's high standards.
Ensure Guest Satisfaction : Respond to guest complaints or concerns, ensuring excellent service and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
Manage Department Costs : Help control departmental expenses, ensuring the team operates efficiently within budget.
Lead and Develop Your Team : Provide coaching and guidance to housekeeping staff, offering feedback and fostering a team-oriented environment.
Maintain Cleanliness Standards : Ensure that all areas of the property are cleaned to the highest standards and meet guest expectations.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma or GED+ 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field, OR
2-year degreein Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (no prior work experience required).
Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness
