Assistant Logistics Manager

Job Description:-  Logistics Process Evaluation:Assess current logistics processes, including inventory management and transportation.Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.Performance Metrics:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, such as order accuracy and on-time delivery rates.Monitor and report regularly on KPI performance.Contract Management:Lead the renegotiation of contracts and seek better suppliers as needed.Conduct an annual open tender for total logistics solutions.Reporting and POD Confirmation:Confirm proof of delivery (POD) and manage daily reporting on outbound status.Submit billing for warehouse operations and outbound logistics.Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance requirements, and changes in transportation or trade policies.Adjust logistics processes to ensure compliance.Issue Resolution:Communicate with logistics companies to verify reasons for any unfulfilled orders.Proactively work to resolve issues affecting logistics performance.Qualifications:-  Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
