Position Title:Assistant Maintenance Engineer
Snapshot of the role:
Lead the maintenance team in preventative maintenance tasks on the facilities, equipment and machinery and ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner to optimize operational efficiency.
Set up maintenance team and provide direct hiring, supervision, delegation and guidance to subordinates in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
Implement preventive maintenance guidelines, policies, procedures and standards.
Assess potential risks and make appropriate recommendations for actions.
Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment and tools and conduct annual evaluations.
Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering.
Ensure work environment is safe by following prescribed guidelines.
Ensure proper repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed.
Ensure all work is performed and completed in conformance with established guidelines, policies, procedures or standards.
Maintain proper record and filing of work performed as per statutory requirements and standards.
Work closely with production in scheduling preventive maintenance to ensure all production goals are met.
Take any initiatives and assignments as assigned by the Company.
What you'll need to succeed:(job requirements)
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major
2 years' experience in mechanical and electrical fields
Passionate to get involved in all aspects of work in maintenance, troubleshoot and repair
Strong leadership skills
