As an Assistant Manager Account, you will play a crucial role in our Jasin Melaka office, overseeing a range of financial accounting and reporting responsibilities.What You'll Be Doing
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Manage the month-end and year-end closing process, including reconciling accounts and generating reports
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Provide support and guidance to the accounting team, contributing to their professional development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with relevant regulations
Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the Accounting industry
Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in accounting software and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Professional accounting certification (e.g.
ACCA, CPA) is preferred
