Responsibilities:
Responsible to prepare management accounting and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including tax compliance and transfer pricing reports.
Assist in the ESG reporting frameworks and drive positive change to the integrated report for the Company.
Assist in data integrity for sustainability indicators and take responsibility for designing and implementing internal system controls for assurance over comparable financial data.
Ensure interoperability of IFRS standards and ISSB standards, including responsibility for climate-related financial disclosures and related documentation.
Liaison with internal stakeholders and external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
Assist in risk management reporting and develop action plans to enhance internal control in financial operations, i.e., systems, processes, and policies.
Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time by the management.
Job Specification:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Data Science/Environmental Accounting or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in group reporting/consolidation and Bursa reporting.
Preferably candidates with 3 years of audit experience/tax experience.
Preferably candidates with knowledge in ESG credentials or relevant ESG experience.
Possess knowledge in accounting standards, tax rules, as well as sustainability reporting.
Good time management, planning, detail-oriented, and organizing skills.
Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving skills.
