About the role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the Finance and Accounting team at Gplex Properties Sdn Bhd. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and will play a crucial part in the financial operations and reporting for the company.What you'll be doing
ManageGeneral Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and financial statements .
Keep us on track withmonthly and annual financial reports .
Double-check journal entriesand reconciliations to keep everything neat and tidy.
Monitorcash flow and help with budgetingand financial decision-making.
Work closely withauditorsand assist with ad-hoc financial tasks.
What we're looking for
A degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field(ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA is a bonus!).
3-5 years of hands-on experiencemanaging full sets of accountsand month-end closings.
Fluency in Mandarinis needed to deal with external stakeholders e.g. agents.
Skills inaccounting software and Excel(you know your way around formulas and numbers).
Knowledge ofaccounting principles, taxation & compliance .
Attention to detail, good organization skills, and a proactive mindset.
