Assistant Manager, Health, Safety & EnvironmentResponsible for effective management of Health, Safety & Environment Department daily operations by establishing and enforcing appropriate policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders while ensuring that the organization operates within the law and compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) guidelines and regulations at all times.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
Preferably certified as a Green Book Holder.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE (Health/Safety, environment) role within a healthcare/hospital-type (preferred).
Strong understanding of HSE principles, OSHA regulations, and local safety and environmental laws.
Ability to align HSE initiatives with business objectives and operational needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage employees and management at all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as take initiative and provide leadership on safety-related issues.#J-18808-Ljbffr
