Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Manager - HR to join our HR Business Partner team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This role will oversee HR operations across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with Epicor's strategic goals and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The role will report into the Sr. Director, Human Resources who is based in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to managers and employees.
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the APAC region.
Conduct regular HR audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices and policies.
Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
Set objectives for the HR team and track, measure progress
Provide expertise and knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring compliance; partner with legal department as needed.
Develop and execute workplace planning and restructuring initiatives
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and labor laws in the APAC region.
Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational analysis, employee relations, talent management, staffing, country specific and local employment laws.
Self-starter with high emotional intelligence; takes initiative to anticipate and identify client needs and makes continuous improvement recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a matrix organization.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software (preferred experience with Workday).
