SCOPE OF ROLE:-
Managing buyers on MAL sites for F&B supplies, sourcing new suppliers, and handling the purchase order (PO) system.
Responsible for preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders, along with additional procurement tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Fully in-charge all Market List category in Malaysia ( KUL, PEN, LGK and BKI ) in all food and beverage items.
Managing daily purchasing functions and manage daily departmental operation such as RFQ quotations, sourcing ,purchase order to supplier, monitor delivery of products for KLIA / KLIA2/ PEN / LGK / BKI.
Managing and ensuring buyer meet the cut off time of PO submission to supplier site.
Monitoring team of buyers on F&B item sourcing and conduct price comparison with negotiation.
Managing on maintaining the existing contract management with existing and new vendor for F&B items.
Initiate tender management by monitoring buyer on tender execution until Awarding process.
Monitoring MAL sites vendor performance, in-charge bi-yearly suppliers score card review.
Attend meeting and work out with Ops Team that involved purchasing matters.
Managing and monitoring the buyers on maintaining the HALAL documentation.
Managing and monitoring buyers on maintaining the HACCP documentation.
Monitoring team of buyers on reconciliation for SOA and coordination with AP Finance.
Managing team of buyers on ensuring the data in Check SCM is accurate and updated
Responsible and ensuring monthly Malaysia report is up to date and ready to present every WD5 in monthly regional procurement meeting.
Monitoring team of buyers on the whole activity of monthly cycle / stock count.
To ensure MAL Buyer works closely with warehouse and ops team regarding purchasing matters.
To report to Regional Head of Procurement SEA on all MAL sites Purchasing matters.
To ensure completion of routine or ad-hoc task assigned by Regional Head of Procurement
To assist other countries setup in system market lists setup if required.
REQUIREMENTS:-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
At least 5-7 years of procurement experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
Background in hospitality or retail is preferred.
Proven skills in supplier management and contract negotiation.
Strong knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
