Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing

As an Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing, you are responsible for developing and fostering business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, and tours of the hotel.
You will also develop strategic action plans for Grand Orient Hotel & Laguna Waterpark to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Corporate, Government & GLC Room Sales for the Hotel & Laguna Waterpark.
Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase revenue.
Represent Hotels at various events and exhibitions.
Implement all sales action plans related to market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels.
Provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, Corporate Rate Application letters, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
Support hotels' service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Develop strong relationships with the on-property front office team to ensure unity and strive to achieve the same goals.
Target key accounts potential for the company.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Acquire and develop new business accounts and prepare sales proposals for clients.
Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
