Job Responsibilities:
Developing Supply Assurance strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Sourcing and engaging reliable vendors (current, EOP & EOP+).
Negotiating with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Developing key performance metrics for vendors, reviewing and evaluating vendor performance.
Viewing and checking purchase orders (PO), organizing and confirming ETD from vendors up to ETA at PPCSB.
Determining incoterms before parts are issued from country of origin and mode of transport - by Sea or by Air (overseas vendors).
Leading back order meetings with various departments and preparing back order reports for upper management.
Managing and monitoring Supplier Assurance's KPIs. Liaising with Proton GTP team for every problematic vendor.
Communicating effectively with overseas suppliers to ensure timely arrivals. Liaising closely with Finance team for debt issues to avoid any supply delays.
Monitoring Sales, Finance & Planning departments to ensure Company KPIs on sales & revenue are met.
Conducting data analysis including annual review, spend analysis, budgeting, costing, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/ Automotive.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the automotive field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Able to speak, read, and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin as translation is required.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Well-versed in warehouse operations is an advantage.
Candidate must be willing to work at Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
