Assistant Manager, Technical & Training (Quality Assurance Review)

Responsibilities:
Conduct research related to accounting & auditing standards.
Assist in performing quality assurance review on audit engagement files and monitor remedial plan and follow-up action plan.
Assist in preparing and updating audit working paper templates & checklists.
Conduct training to auditors on auditing and accounting standards.
Requirements:
Possess a professional qualification and a Degree in Accountancy.
A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Minimum 5 years of external audit experience; candidates who are working with major or medium-sized auditing firms or accounting bodies will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge in Companies Act, Accounting and Auditing Standards.
Analytic and communicate well in English (oral & written).
Motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Be able to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and deal effectively with pressure.
Computer literate; well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other day-to-day office applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
