Job Description Assist Production Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating production schedules. Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production plans and quality standards. Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, including training and performance management. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Work closely with Quality Control department to maintain product quality and consistency. Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize waste. Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production metrics. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve issues. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment, and materials, preferably in the plastics industry. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices, with experience in implementing safety programs. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with production management software preferred.
