Assistant, Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC)To create detailed production planning for production activities, including the timing, quantity, and sequence of flour milling, blending and packing processes.
To ensure production aligns with sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory requirements by monitoring schedules to meet deadlines and ensure on-time delivery of products.
To manage the inventory materials and components needed for production, ensuring that materials are available when needed without excess stock while balancing inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking, minimizing holding costs while maintaining production efficiency.
To cross-functional collaboration by working closely with departments such as procurement, logistics, quality control, and engineering to ensure smooth production flow.
To communicate production status and potential issues to management, sales, and other relevant teams.
Continuously monitoring production to ensure adherence to the plan and adjusting schedules or processes as needed in response to delays or issues, while addressing and resolving any production issues or bottlenecks that may arise during manufacturing.
Generating reports on production schedules, performance data, including output, inventory levels, and resource utilization for management review.
Compliance with company safety and hygiene standard.
To perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Mechatronic) or in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Well versed in Oracle JDE system and Microsoft Office (Excel) is a must.
2 years of working experience in Manufacturing industry or relevant.
