About the Role:
The Assistant Vice President - Corporate Strategy role is responsible in providing analytical and administrative support to the Corporate Strategy team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy, this role involves preparing and analyzing management reports, financial data, and budgets to provide up-to-date insights on strategic initiatives performance as well as recommendations for improvements. Additionally, the position requires strong collaboration with other departments to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes.
What will you do:
Prepare and distribute regular management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational performance reports as well as strategic initiatives.
Consolidate and analyze data from various sources to provide meaningful insights and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate and provide consultive insights to stakeholders to understand and design good performance metric and ensure the delivery of relevant and actionable information.
Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards to streamline the reporting process for effective monitoring.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
Perform variance analysis to identify deviations from budgets, forecasts, and targets.
Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate business performance and potential outcomes.
Provide recommendations for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and process improvements based on analysis findings.
Support digital innovation and strategy which includes expanding the digital innovation ecosystem and digital business via consultative services especially to items related to performance measurement.
Assist on implementing the digital strategy and digital change management.
Measuring the ROI on Digital Projects and evaluate the improvements on digital strategy.
Assist the head to provide current market research, trending and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve process and strategies with technology solution and using data to make informed decisions.
Recognize development needs to improve and streamline operations to improve data culture.
Work as an intermediary between other functions in the rollout of corporate initiatives, and closing performance gaps that exist in and between the various functions and business units of the organization.
Liaising with other department within the Bank for documentation and monitoring for reporting as required.

Skills and experience you possess:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education level in any relevant field.
Professional Certification in Accounting/ Business / Investment-related will be an added advantage.
Possess a minimum of 8 years in Strategy / Management Reporting / Financial Reporting or any related discipline.
Sound knowledge in banking and digital bank.
Possess good stakeholder management skill, with exposure in project management and good in write ups and/or providing business justifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
