Job Description:
Conducting due diligence, compiling list of due diligence issues and preparing due diligence report.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
Attending meetings and signings of legal documentation.
Attending stamping and registration of the legal documentation with various authorities.
Preparing compliance checklist in respect of compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines and ensure compliance thereof.
Compiling documents for fulfilment of conditions precedent / conditions subsequent.
Assisting research on various areas of law in connection with the project undertaken.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Admitted to Malaysian Bar.
No specific PQE is required, but prior experience in banking and finance, capital markets and/or real estate is welcomed.
Professional Working Proficiency level in English (both spoken and written).
Knowledge of Companies Act and Capital Markets and Services Act is a must.
