ASSOCIATE, CORPORATE COMMERCIAL
The successful candidate will be part of our corporate team attending to corporate finance projects, corporate transactions, and corporate advisory work.
PUPILS FOR OUR CORPORATE AND CONVEYANCING PRACTICE
We are recruiting a pupil with an excellent attitude who has a passion to work in this practice.
Corporate Department:
Successful pupils will be placed in our teams of corporate lawyers and have the opportunity to work alongside the lawyers on initial public offerings, M&A and restructuring transactions, compliance and regulatory work, fund raising in the capital markets, and general advisory and commercial matters.
Conveyancing Department:
Successful pupils will be assisting the lawyers in the involvement of the end-to-end process in preparing conveyancing-related documents including but not limited to drafting and conducting research and any other tasks entrusted by lawyers from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
ASSOCIATE, CORPORATE COMMERCIAL
PQE of 1-3 years in corporate commercial practice, preferably gained from reputable/leading law firms. Well-rounded experience that enables him/her to be able to come up with pro-business legal solutions with strong customer focus. Experience dealing with public listed clients and in IPO work is an advantage. However, newly qualified lawyers who have a strong passion in this practice area will be considered. Excellent command of the English Language enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and is results-driven.

Overview of Organisation:
Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong was founded in 1999. Our founder partners were part of the regional cross-border team of a law firm in South East Asia with experience in cross border investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. From 2001 to 2011, we were affiliated with an international law firm operating across many jurisdictions within the Asia Pacific region.
