Your responsibilities:
Foster strong client relationships and develop a strong understanding of the client's business.
Proactively build relationships with senior marketing clients and position self as a trusted advisor to them.
Assist with engagement of BD with key senior clients.
Provide offline & online strategic input to team and lead the delivery of strategic and innovative solutions to clients.
Support team with Media KPI deliveries across offline & online media.
Lead the digital performance conversations, thought leadership, and oversee operations for key clients in OMD Malaysia; ensure delivery against best practices and set new benchmarks in performance both internally and with clients.
Drive digital conversations and solutions beyond just paid media optimization, across owned and earned media optimization such as Web Analytics and Optimization, SEO, Content optimization, CRO, and Data Analytics to improve overall agency's deliveries on campaign performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of media and market trends and opportunities and apply them to the client's business.
Develop and deliver strategic initiatives on key clients.
Foster strong relationships with working partners, both internal and external, to deliver collaborative and integrated solutions to clients.
Quality control of the output from OMD to ensure it meets agency's expectations and vision in delivering strong strategic solutions to clients.
Participate in contract negotiations, competitive and media market reviews, cost savings exercises, client appraisals of the agency, and client business review sessions.
Develop and implement initiatives that help diversify portfolio revenues and increase revenues for the portfolio.
Support in new business development by leading and/or supporting new business pitches.
Support the agency's competitiveness and visibility in the market through attendance of industry functions, creating portfolio publicity, and contributing to award entries.
Champion OMD's proprietary solutions – Omni and ensure strong adoption of OMD's Omni Design.
Strategize and champion agency-level projects to enhance organizational culture.
Required Skills or Attributes:
Over 7+ years integrated media experience as the senior contact on key accounts focusing on media plans and key tactics.
Experienced in managing and guiding teams.
Strong knowledge of digital platforms and able to consult and guide clients on digital planning.
Understand the whole spectrum of research, planning, and implementation processes.
Good understanding of clients' business, competitors, customers, and objectives and a sympathetic incorporation of these considerations into the communications strategy.
Good organizational skills in handling a number of projects at the same time, being able to set priorities, keep to deadlines, and work effectively under time pressure.
Strong understanding of media fundamentals, trading issues, and operational issues.
Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in all relevant industry software and systems.
