Associate Director – Planning
As Associate Planning Director, you will take the lead in developing the media and communications strategies for various brands. An Associate Planning Director handles specific brands and performs the following tasks:Drives application of Mindshare's internal systems and processes in the preparation of client requirementsLeads the preparation & presentation of Annual Communications Plans and Reviews with minimal supervisionWorks with Planners in preparation of strategic communication response to business issues and challenges based on the client's briefRecommends media platforms and investment level based on client's objective and strategic directionsSeeks, recommends, and evaluates media innovations and test initiatives to address business objectives and needsIdentifies learnings and creates best practices for both the internal team and clientManages brand's media budget (annual, monthly and per campaign budget)Leads in various client engagements and interactionsOversees the delivery of day to day requirements with minimal supervisionManages and ensures timely submission of accurate and complete reports and other brand deliverablesOversees internal reporting and internal processes specific to the accounts handledWorks with internal specialist teams on the team's campaign deliverablesLeads and mentors team to help develop and improve their strategic thinking skills and operational disciplineSupports the team in growth and development plans for the teamWhat you'll bring:Solid understanding of offline and online mediaStrong analytical and number skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsPassion for learning and openness to new challengesProject management skills, good at multi-tasking and organizationProactivenessSelf-starter attitudeTeam player mindsetTime management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence and a can-do/positive attitudeHigh level of accountability and integrityMinimum qualifications:Graduate of a Business, Marketing or Research-related course: Business Administration/Management, Marketing Management, Advertising, Economics, Communication Research, Communication Arts, etc.At least 7 years of work experience with at least 1 year managing 1-2 junior staff in a media agency or marketing/advertising/research-related fieldMore about Mindshare:
