Job Description
Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for development teams; managing, motivating, and developing project and team leaders.
Assisting advisors in recommending optimum design solutions on special projects and ensuring design is compatible with customer requirements and within manufacturing limitations and sound engineering practices.
Preparing and managing research and development (R&D) budget; obtaining funding for special projects.
Developing, implementing, and monitoring new and innovative R&D approaches, tools, and techniques.
Evaluating and addressing market needs and demands by modification and upgrading of products.
Monitoring design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
