Associate Manager - Strategic & Operations (Chief Corporate Affairs' Office)We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support and work closely with the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO). This role involves a strong focus on strategic planning, project management, business management & analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate key initiatives across Corporate Communications, Creative Solutions, and Sustainability & Social Investment while driving alignment with PNB's broader strategic goals. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution, data analysis, and seamless communication across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Project Coordination:Support the CCAO in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic Corporate Affairs initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Work closely with business leaders to integrate divisional plans, KPIs, budgets, and key projects into a unified strategy.
Project Management & Monitoring:Manage and monitor the progress of Corporate Affairs projects. Provide regular status updates, highlighting any risks or issues, and report to the relevant leadership teams. Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Data Analytics & Reporting:Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of data from internal and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Conduct gap analysis and benchmarking to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement or new initiatives.
Sustainability & Social Investment and Creative Solutions Integration:Work closely with the Creative Solutions and Sustainability & Social Investment teams to support the integration of these areas into the overall Corporate Affairs strategy. Assist with sustainability and social investments initiatives and help drive creative communication campaigns that align with PNB's strategic objectives.
Event/Project Management & Coordination:Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and other project-related events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly.
Performance Evaluation & Optimization:Use measurement and analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of Corporate Affairs initiatives. Provide actionable insights to optimize strategies, enhance project outcomes, and improve overall team performance.
Industry Insights & Trend Analysis:Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the fields of corporate communications, sustainability & social investment, and creative solutions. Provide recommendations based on data insights to enhance Corporate Affairs strategies and improve organizational performance.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science or a related field.
Strong and proven background in strategic planning, business operations, and project management.
Proven experience in managing complex projects with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and business analytics tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate across teams.
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage key institutional relationships.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AI-based tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Solid analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making.
Knowledge of sustainability & social investment practices, creative solutions, and corporate communications strategies is an added advantage.
Prior experience working with C-suite executives to manage various tasks and utilizing measurement and analytics tools to assess performance and optimize strategies is an added advantage.
