Associate Technical Engineer – EUC SoftwareResponsibilities:Software Setup and Configuration:Assist in setting up, configuring and supporting EUC software, including Active Directory (AD), Exchange, Office 365, and SCCM at client sites.
Project Support:Provide support to project rollouts in implementing and deploying EUC software, ensuring the project scope aligns with the client's IT environment.
Technical Audits:Help perform audits to assess discrepancies between current and desired IT configurations.
Issue Escalation and Resolution:Troubleshoot basic software issues, escalating complex issues to senior engineers.
Client Support:Provide support to client IT managers under minimal supervision, offering technical guidance when necessary. Participate in preventive maintenance activities.
Quality Control:Participate in testing phases and verification procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience:Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in technical roles, particularly with EUC software (e.g., Windows operating systems).
Certifications:Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not required.
Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with third-party archive systems like Symantec Enterprise Vault, EAS, EMC Source One, and Email Xtender, and how they integrate with Exchange, is an added advantage.
Communication Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
Customer Service:Demonstrated dedication to delivering excellent service and support.
Teamwork:Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
