Job Description
This position is to assist the logistics manager in leading the logistics team to fully support total supply chain management in Mewah Dairies for daily operations, inventory control, ASRS (automated storage and retrieval system) operation, bulk oil and raw material movement, packaging material inventory and stocks control, and weighbridge operation.
Additionally, this position is responsible for managing manpower arrangements, warehouse management, material handling equipment requirements, monitoring department staff overtime, and costing.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
5 to 6 years of working experience in the Food Industry, handling around 500 to 600 containers per month.
Experience in managing subordinates, with oversight of 30-40 staff.
Proficient in English, with strong report writing skills and presentation abilities to management.
Able to control local staff and foreign workers, with expertise in stock control and inventory management.
Ability to collaborate with contractors, haulage, stuffing contractors, and material handling equipment contractors.
Willingness to work on public holidays, take the lead in solving operational issues, and ensure cleanliness in the warehouse.
