Their partnership with Xero has enabled them to work closely with SMEs on adopting and implementing digital business practices. Together with other digital solution partners, they have made accounting and financial reporting easier for clients and their employees, customers, and suppliers.
Job Scope:
Responsible for a portfolio of clients and special assignments to grow the business
Supervision of assurance professionals and managing a team
Familiar with the regulatory and reporting environment
Develop and grow team members
Plan, execute, and manage assignments for timely completion
Review and ensure completeness and quality of staff work and compliance with all statutory and/or regulatory requirements of the assignments
Review and evaluate risk, document and assess key controls, document and assess process flows, and identify significant accounting issues
Coach, motivate, and develop junior team members
Lead and manage fieldwork on client sites, including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the audit process
Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and related financial reporting matters
Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagement
Identify areas requiring improvement in client business processes and provide possible recommendations; prepare and deliver Management Letters to clients
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA, or professional qualifications
Minimum 5 years of proven and relevant audit experience; candidates with relevant but lesser years of experience may be considered
Willing to travel within Singapore and overseas for engagements (when situation permits)
Good report writing and presentation skills
Team player and able to work with minimum supervision
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Able to multi-task, flexible, and can work under pressure
