Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Professional Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of proven experience in external auditing.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and research skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a valuable advantage.
Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to manage and guide a team effectively.
A team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
Prior experience with theIncome Tax ActandTransfer Pricingis a plus.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead audit teams, ensuring high-quality assurance services and compliance for a diverse client portfolio.
Mentor, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct reviews of high-risk engagements, ensuring audit papers comply with relevant standards.
Oversee team portfolio financials, ensuring budgets and objectives are met.
Provide strategic advice to clients, delivering insightful reports and innovative solutions.
Represent the firm at client meetings, including presenting audit findings during exit meetings.
Drive firm growth by building strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Partners and management to contribute to strategic firm decisions.
